Why Now

We stand at a critical inflection point in human history. As technology accelerates our ability to connect digitally, we paradoxically face an epidemic of loneliness and division unprecedented in scale.

Today's digital landscape has transformed media and social platforms into engines of polarization, where AI algorithms create fake profiles and content designed to deepen our divisions and advance political agendas. We watch as ideology increasingly labels fellow humans as "others"—a dangerous pattern history has taught us to recognize.

The urgency of our mission has never been greater. Systems powered by data and AI now make judgments about who belongs and who doesn't, who poses a threat and who aligns with prevailing ideologies—all with diminishing human oversight. Many feel powerless against these forces, believing resistance is futile.

Yet precisely because of this crisis, a profound opportunity emerges. The same people drawn to extremist ideologies are ultimately seeking what we all desire: love, connection, and belonging. While cognitive divides between ideologies seem insurmountable, our emotional connections as humans remain our common ground.

Now is the moment to reclaim technology's promise—to create spaces where people can connect as simply human, without ideological labels or prejudice. By harnessing AI to foster resonance between individuals rather than division, we can build interfaces that reconnect hearts and minds, helping people rediscover their shared humanity.

The technology exists. The understanding exists. The human longing for authentic connection has reached a crescendo that cannot be ignored. Now is the time to answer this call and demonstrate that ending our epidemic of loneliness isn't just possible—it's within our reach.

"Because they are unable to see their own problems" said psycho-analyst Carl Gustav Jung.

In this 1957 interview Jung explained how the greatest risk for human kind is its unawareness of its own psyche.

We are living in a dynamic time of systemic changes, east-west, north-south, old and new industries, changing ideologies defining what is humanity and cruelty, never ending debates about wrong and right. Only humility will prevail.

My wish is for countries, politicians, billionaires and common people to become more conscious about the world we are creating together, some time for self-reflection to understand our own nature, and some mental sanity.
