3 step brain hacking to access your superpowers based on modern science and ancient Chinese methods
In 2014, after having lost everything, a ‘dark night of the soul’ ushered me into an unplanned sabbatical; through a tough year of intense self-reflection, studying and meditation, I set out to reset my life. I started with the 6 phase meditation developed by Vishen Lakhiani and with effortless meditation developed by Peter Russell.
Although I have a scientific and engineering background, I became interested in studying the ancient Chinese texts, such as the Book of Changes (易经) and the Book of the Yellow Emperor (黄帝内经), and started practicing standing QiGong meditation (站桩).

After a while, I noticed that not only was my mind more at peace, but my body started recovering from chronic stress and auto-immune-related issues; even my eyesight improved! I later started to realize that I could spontaneously control my body temperature and direct energy to consciously heal parts of my body. My passion even drove my son to try it because he wanted to learn and control “the Force”.

Eventually, I started sensing the inherent connection between nature, animals and people and how to interact with them more effectively. I even started being able to influence interactions between other people during moments of conflict to help “make things right”. My curiosity as to how all this could be possible sent me back to science to explore whether epi-genetics and psychology could provide some answers.

During this period, I discovered that Carl Gustav Jung, and his concept of the collective subconscious, offered some preliminary insights into how we are all connected. From Jung, I was introduced to the Book of Changes, which allowed me to tap into the collective wisdom to unlock problems I was facing in life and business.

My intense curiosity about how on earth any of this could even be possible motivated me to dig into quantum mechanics and philosophy, where I started to understand that reality is not an absolute state shared by everyone; rather it is shaped entirely by perception — not only in philosophy, but also in hard physics.

Driven to explore further, I read other great works from around the world such as Kybalion, The Book of the Way(道德经), Law of Attraction, The Secret, The Bible, Feng Shui(风水法术) etc and came to realize their shared wisdom. They all say the same thing: there are basic principles that determine how society works, how it is organized, how life runs smoothly and, in effect, how reality is shaped for each individual.
It suddenly all made sense: Understanding principles in all these ancient works allows you to navigate through life more easily, even allowing you to choose and influence the path of your life.
Understanding, wasn’t enough. The scientist in me wanted to test how I was able to reprogram the subconscious, so I bought some tools to measure electrical activity in the brain and resonance in the heart, started experimenting and discussing with scientists.
The weirdest, but also most beautiful things started happening: I noticed that whatever intention I put into my subconscious, started unfolding. I was familiar with this effect because I had studied Jose Da Silva’s method before, recently modernized and presented by Mindvalley as the Silva Ultramind System.
But the most fascinating thing I discovered was that increasing qi (vital energy) through standing meditation practice reinforces the ability of the subconscious to manifest or bend reality faster. Allegorically I could say: ’meditation helps you see the light; qigong helps you turn it into a laser’.

I used to work as a Solution Architect in DuPont Sustainable Solutions as part of a special task force team to develop a new value proposition for China. My job was to process relevant knowledge, processes, technology, experience etc. in the company, explore the market and then develop business solutions with roadmaps and detailed procedures to coach business leaders in other companies.

I really loved that job and have used that experience to compose what I have learned into a simple roadmap to help others. I have been silently practicing it for years, but started speaking about it publicly just recently, as an increasing amount of people started asking about it.
