My Why

I sometimes have visions when I am in deep meditation. Below is a text I wrote on a morning in 2019 "feeling" where social media and AI were leading into. In 2026, this seems more relevant than ever.

At the time I co-created a global Think Tank "Wise Mirror" to envision a better future.

Below is the WHY I wrote for our initiative back in 2019:

"As for “why” we are doing this:

While technology these days allows us to hyper-connect, “loneliness” has become the disease of our time.

Media and social media have become anti-social media, individual rights are politicized and extrapolated into extremes.

AI is used to create fake social profiles aiming at creating even more partisanship to feed political agendas, disrupting humanity.

Ideology throughout history has shown its evil face from the moment it became more important than humanity.

When capitalism, communism, left and right starts labeling “fathers, mothers, daughters and sons” as the “others”, every father, mother son and daughter should start worrying being “the other” when meeting an “other”.

We are increasingly using data and AI to judge who are terrorists, or… who is inclined to become one, or who is inclined not to align with the ruling ideology, or who are the “others”.

As a result, ideology increasingly is dividing humanity in ways we even don’t understand.

If ideology decides based on data without human interface, we are entering a brave new world. Ideology hijacks systems and systems hijack humanity.

Deep inside we FEEL something is wrong, but “we KNOW that we can’t fight the system”.

But is that true?

Research shows that people joining extremist groups are craving for love and connection.The driver is fear and loneliness.

Cognitively ideologies can’t be bridged, but emotionally humans can be connected across ideologies.

What if we were able to create am virtual ideology-free human world where people can enter without any label, technologically can connect, and resonate with other human beings? What if data and AI could be used to increase the resonance between humans? What if the interface would be bi-directional, creating more love and understanding between fathers, mothers, daughters and sons?

What if technology would create resonance between the brain and the heart, appeasing the mind to think in terms of ideology, allowing humans to-reconnect with themselves and others?What if this would create a wave answering the current human crave for connection.What if we could end loneliness?

What if we were to say we know how to do that?"
