Question:

People asked me about numerology, if numbers really can have a meaning.

Answer:

In systems like Ba Zi, there is a structured framework behind the numbers. But many people oversimplify it by saying that one number always means one specific thing.

In reality it is more subtle.

The system has fixed patterns, but their meaning is not the same for everyone. Understanding them depends not only on learning the system, but also on how connected you are to yourself and to the larger patterns of life.

When I feel deeply connected, the patterns suddenly become clear. In those moments it almost feels as if I can see the future, not in a mystical way, but by understanding the logic of how things are likely to unfold.

It’s like having a car and a map.

The roads exist, but how you drive and which road you choose is still up to you.

If you drive in alignment with yourself, life becomes smooth and fulfilling. If you choose the wrong roads, you eventually end up lost with a broken car.

Carl Jung called the process of finding the right road individuation, and his idea of the collective unconscious was partly inspired by the Chinese I Ching.

So the circle closes: these systems help us reconnect with ourselves and with the deeper patterns of life.

When I stay connected to that process, life unfolds naturally and feels almost like a dream. When I disconnect, I quickly feel lost and under pressure.

That’s why this is not something you do once.

It’s a continuous practice of reconnecting with yourself and with life.
